If you would like to know more about training at an AMS, you can contact our Aboriginal and Indigenous Liaison Officer, Val Dahlstrom on vald@gpsynergy.com.au. Current registrars can also contact their Medical Educator.

GP Synergy has also developed The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Committee, which is a sub-committee of the board of GP Synergy. The Committee has many roles, including and not limited to ensuring representation of Aboriginal input into the cultural education and development of GP registrars.

The committee has representatives from local Aboriginal Medical Services in each node, as well as representatives from key Aboriginal health education organizations including The University of Sydney and AH&MRC amongst others. For more information about this Committee please contact Val Dahlstrom (vald@gpsynergy.com.au).
