Applying to GP Synergy
2013 AGPT program
Applications to the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program generally open in April/May for one month. All applicants are required to apply online via the AGPT website - www.agpt.com.au. In this application, applicants are able to nominate their training provider (i.e. GP Synergy - general pathway or GP Synergy - rural pathway) preference.
Prospective GP training applicants are encouraged to monitor the AGPT website – www.agpt.com.au regularly for information about application opening dates and processes.
GP Synergy has prepared an information pack specifically designed for prospective applicants which includes information about the GP Synergy training pathways and training opportunities, how to apply to GP Synergy, financial support for registrars training with GP Synergy and answers to those FAQs such as applying for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the GP Synergy term allocation process.
